I was mowing my lawn on the riding lawnmower. I usually keep my phone in a cup holder, which is deep enough to keep it in place. However, this time I moved it to my pocket, after picking up some toy one of the neighbors must have thrown into my yard. It fell out of my pocket and into he fan blades near the engine. I couldn't find it at first, but when I did I saw the damage. My Duo had a huge chunk in it all the way down through the rubber liner, but the phone was okay! (See photo below) I've been a customer for years, via Verizon. These products have always been sturdy, dependable, and decently priced. Thank you for making some awesome products!
