This case is super slippery, its hard to hold on to, it slides out of my pocket in the car when I accelerate. Is it made of Teflon? Probably. It is shockingly absurd to call it the "grip".
I've used Incipio cases for many years, so when I picked up a new iPhone 15 Pro Max it was a no brainer - searched on Incipio and saw something called "grip" and boom, click, done. But now I have this monstrosity and its complete rubbish! The back is devoid of any texture at all and its somehow polished and hard; dipped in snot so you just can't hold on to it. The sides have some minimal texture, but the plastic is hard and its like holding on to a eel - its rubbish. It baffles me why anyone would call this the "grip". The number of times I've gotten in the car with my phone in my pocket, but when I get out I have to retrieve my phone from the back seat is astonishing. I'm not wearing clown pants, I'm not driving a rocketship, I'm not fidgeting around like a monkey.
$55 for a bit of plastic and a few tiny magnets - I've been conned.
I sensed Incipio was becoming an "also ran" when they discontinued the StashBack - that was a masterpiece, the grip is a codpiece.
